100th Major Donor for the New JACC

The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council and the New JACC Announce the 100th Donor of More Than $10,000!

Juneau’s local arts agency and the New JACC are delighted to announce exciting good news about reaching a major milestone in local support for the effort to build a dedicated arts and culture facility for Alaska’s Capital City. Local design firm Bauer & Clifton is the one-hundredth donor to the New JACC project at the Major Donor level over $10,000. Earlier this week Jeremy Bauer and Jason Clifton of Bauer/Clifton Interiors formally made this significant commitment to the project, which shows the intensity and strength of the community’s dedication to making the New JACC a reality.

Bauer/Clifton has joined the growing family of Groundbreakers, a group of individuals, families, and businesses from Juneau, across Alaska, and beyond. Groundbreakers make a $10,000 pledge to the project, with an initial payment of $1,000 followed by contributions of $3,000 annually in the next three years. The Groundbreaker Campaign was launched last year and has been at the heart of the fundraising efforts for the New JACC. In addition to expanding the family of Groundbreakers, Bauer/Clifton’s commitment marks the 100th donation from individuals and businesses at $10,000 or above.

Jeremy and Jason said, “We are really excited about the New JACC, and are thrilled to be able to take this step to move this critical project ahead. Juneau’s arts and culture community deserves a dedicated, purpose-built facility, which will enhance the quality of life for all who live in Juneau, and for those who visit our amazing and unique community.”

As the Partnership Capital Campaign Committee continues the important work of raising the funds to build the New JACC, it is reassuring and validating as these efforts have yielded over $5 million dollars to date. Major contributions like those from Groundbreakers are key in illustrating the community’s commitment to the New JACC, which is essential in the successful pursuit of donations from foundations and corporations.
